Those we have helped in 2019
January Thru March
Ernie St.Pierre and his wife Brenda presented to the members of starting a new project. We would generate a care bag for homeless veterans consisting of a hat, large "polar Fleece" blanket, socks, gloves, Scarf, and various necessities like hand sanitizer, Kleenex, tooth brush, protein bars, etc. It was decided the 50 bags would be made.
Donations started to come in and on January 12th, 2019 volunteers put the bags together. The bags were given to various organizations for distribution.

July
Helped veteran with car repair bill
Thanks to Shea Concrete for making it affordable in helping another Veteran in need with a new set of concrete front steps and railings for her to be able to get in and out of her home.
July Thru September
A veteran was struck by a hit & run driver while mowing his lawn. We assisted in fund raising,and helped with home repairs while recovering such as Repairing plumbing leaks, & damaged bulkhead door. Also arranged for tree removal.
August

September
Gave a helping hand to a veterans car repairs
Derry Village Rotary notified us of veteran in need of a basement slider. We purchased the slider and had a contractor install the unit.
October
Started a campaign of providing snow blowers to needy veterans. Collected 4 snow blowers and had them serviced. These snowblowers in very good condition were given to 4 veterans in need during November & December
November
Assisted a veteran in need of transportation to get to his appointments
