A vet contacted us for help with a chimney leaking water into the house.    Upon research of the roof determined that the roof was installed incorrectly and wasn't sealed correctly around the chimney.  Contacted "Bacon's Home Improvement".  He gave us a discounted cost of repair and the repair was completed correctly.  Later he noticed the front stairs were in bad condition and rebuilt them for free labor.

From a lead at the Farmers Market booth we visited a vet with house problems.  He had unsafe stairs going from the deck to the back yard and driveway.  They presented a possible safety hazard.  The East Derry Rotary club offered free labor and guidance for the project.  We changed the location of the stairs to the side of the deck.  This would assist in better access to the driveway without the danger of slipping on ice in the winter.

We received a request for assistance from our Face Book page.   His request was "I am a disabled veteran. and a single dad of a disabled son. He is 21 years old and he is non-verbaland has severe autism and Crohn's Disease. We live in Londonderry NH. I recently bought a car. Apparently it was sitting undriven for a while because I got a flat tire on route 93. It was very scary because my son tried to exit the vehicle when I pulled over in the breakdown lane. I kept him in the car and the flat was fixed but the next day I got another flat tire. I need to change all three tires so the car is safe to drive but I have no money to do this.  Can your organization assist us if possible?"
We contacted The vet and viewed the vehicle.  Their was one flat, one new, and two marginal tires.  In order to have a safe vehicle all the tires should be the same type.  We contacted Tire Warehouse in Derry.  They were able to give us a discounted price on four tires installed.  We will use the new tire the vet had installed as a spare.

As we were settling the bill the manager gave the vet $15 dollars from his pocket to help him off-set the price of gas.
